Early giving has started for north Texas Giving Day, the largest community-wide giving event in the nation. The giving event mobilizes nonprofits and givers to create lasting impact in their communities. The big day is September 21, but early giving is open through September 20.
On the Road Lending participates in this event annually. Providing support to On the Road Lending allows us to provide a lending product that is a 50-60% cheaper alternative with financial mentoring throughout the life of the loan. Your support through North Texas Giving Day empowers us to serve our clients and get them on the road to better lives.
This spring, we hosted an investor luncheon to celebrate our successful clients and the impact an affordable vehicle loan has had on their lives and their families’ lives. It was a way for us to say thank you to early supporters and those who continue to support our work. There was a resounding theme among clients of how an affordable, reliable vehicle opened doors not only for themselves but also for their children and others. So often, our clients tell us how having a car allows them to pay it forward and help others who don’t have reliable transportation.
On the Road Lending has empowered more than 1,500 families with affordable loans for reliable cars to live their best lives. With an estimated $20,000 economic impact per family per loan, that is nearly $30 million in wealth creation, helping working families transform their futures with the freedom of mobility.
